Bio: Stephen Bischoff is Director for Multicultural Student Services (MSS) at Washington State University (WSU). As Director, Stephen oversees the WSU Smart Start Program in addition to his role within the larger Community, Equity, and Inclusive Excellence (CEIE) pillar.

Charles Allen Ross is a graduate from Allegheny College where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Community and Justice with an emphasis on Multicultural Education. In addition, to his bachelors Charles obtained two minors in Educational Studies and Theater. As the SMART Start Program Retention Counselor Charles has a passion for the students he works with as he is also a proud first-generation student. Using this passion, he strives to help his students in becoming excellent leaders in order to make their time at WSU worthwhile.
